1. These terms and the service

These terms describe the conditions for using Seed & Mow. Contact [email protected] for service or legal questions. The legal operator name is still being confirmed, and the terms have no effective date yet.

Seed & Mow offers lawn-care information, planning tools, saved records, and AI-assisted coaching where available. Features may be in development or limited to testing. Only the features actually available in your account are included.

Reading these pages does not record your agreement. The signup acceptance and version-recording process has not been verified.

Agreeing to service terms is separate from receiving a privacy notice or making any purpose-specific privacy choice. It does not waive privacy rights or give blanket permission for future data uses.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must have authority to use the account and provide information about the property or lawn concerned. Keep account details accurate and protect your sign-in access. The minimum user age and supported launch countries are still being finalized. For help, email [email protected].

You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. These terms do not make you responsible for a security failure caused by us where the law provides otherwise.

3. Information and AI limitations

Lawn-care content and AI responses are educational guidance. They may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your grass, weather, soil, or location. AI can misunderstand text and images, invent details, or miss a problem. A photo alone may not establish a diagnosis.

At this launch stage, AI Lawn Coach offers identification help, general lawn-care and treatment-option education, generic label-unit explanations, and sources to check. Identifications are tentative. Personalized pesticide doses, mixing amounts, and application or retreatment schedules are outside this launch, even when a label or measured area is supplied. Ordinary fertilizer-only discussion and reading historical records remain available; a historical record is not a recommendation to repeat a treatment.

Independently verify AI-generated information before acting, using your own observations, current product labels, applicable local rules, and reliable local guidance. For uncertain, persistent, spreading, or high-consequence problems, consult a qualified local professional or extension service. We do not guarantee a particular diagnosis, treatment result, lawn appearance, yield, timing, cost saving, or other outcome.

Content from other regions may not fit your conditions. References to sources or products do not establish that a recommendation is suitable for your particular lawn.

The coach is intended for lawn-care questions and may decline or redirect unrelated requests. Automated answers are not a substitute for checking conditions yourself or obtaining help from a qualified professional.

4. Safe and lawful lawn care

Always read and follow the current product label, including approved sites and species, rates, protective equipment, re-entry intervals, storage, disposal, and environmental precautions. Follow applicable pesticide, fertilizer, water-use, and local restrictions. A Seed & Mow answer does not override a label or the law.

Do not apply or mix products based only on an AI response or an uncertain photo identification. Verify the product, need, grass type, measured area, local rules, and label instructions first. Keep people and animals away as the label requires.

Stop using a recommendation if it conflicts with a label, local restriction, or the conditions you observe. The service is not an emergency or poisoning-response service.

5. Your content

You keep your rights in the information, messages, and photos you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, process, and display that content as needed to provide the features you use, maintain and secure the service, and fulfill your instructions, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Only submit material you have the right to use. Avoid other people’s personal information and photos you do not have permission to provide. This permission does not by itself authorize public marketing use of your private lawn content.

AI outputs may be similar to material generated for others and may contain errors. Review them before using or sharing them. Nothing here grants rights in a third party’s protected content.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not access another person’s records, bypass account or security controls, or use the service to obtain private information without authorization.
  • Do not upload malicious code, interfere with service operation, impersonate another person, or use the service unlawfully.
  • Do not submit infringing or harmful material, or use the service to plan unsafe or unlawful chemical use.
  • Do not remove required attribution or misrepresent automated content as a verified professional diagnosis.

7. External sources, retailers, and affiliate links

External resources and retailers operate independently. Their prices, availability, product information, terms, and privacy practices may change. Check them directly before making a purchase or applying a product.

If a recommendation includes a paid or affiliate link, the financial connection should be disclosed clearly near the recommendation. A commission does not establish that a product is suitable for your lawn. Active programs and any required program-specific wording must be confirmed before affiliate links are introduced.

8. Fees and future paid features

The current public guides and starter-plan result do not require a payment or card. An account is optional for that result and is used for supported saving and account features. These terms do not establish a paid plan, renewal term, cancellation charge or refund policy.

A current free feature does not authorize a future charge. We will not treat accepting these terms as authorization to charge you.

Any future paid feature must present its price, taxes and mandatory fees, billing frequency, renewal and cancellation terms, and any material refund limits before you agree to pay. The final launch offer is still being confirmed.

9. Availability, changes, and ending use

The service may be unavailable, interrupted, or changed for maintenance, security, or development. Save a copy of information important to you when a suitable export or copying option is available.

We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, a security risk, legal requirements, or a material violation of these terms. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will explain the reason and a way to contact us. You may stop using the service at any time; the account-closure and data-removal request process must be verified and made available before this agreement takes effect.

Changes to these terms will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes require appropriate notice and, where required, renewed agreement. They will not retroactively remove rights that the law protects.

10. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise that every answer will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular result. You remain responsible for checking conditions and instructions before undertaking lawn-care work.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, warranties, duties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any applicable consumer protections.

Current limits
  • These terms include no dollar liability cap, arbitration requirement, class-action waiver or indemnity.

11. Questions, disputes, and other terms

For service issues, complaints or legal questions, email [email protected].

The governing law, business location and any permitted court venue remain to be confirmed. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply; these terms do not require a particular dispute venue.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision once does not waive the right to enforce it later. These terms and any specifically accepted feature terms govern use of the service, subject to applicable law.
