For quite a while, I used AI to help work through those questions. It was useful, but keeping track of the advice, timing, and everything we’d discussed started to become a job of its own.

Then I switched AI accounts and lost all that context.

I was back to explaining my yard from scratch. That’s when I started thinking: why not build something specifically for this?

I’ve spent more than 25 years in IT building web products, so I decided to put that experience to work on a problem I was having myself.

That became Seed & Mow.

The idea is simple: a helpful lawn-care conversation that’s easier to pick up again, with your lawn’s history, plans, and progress kept together. We’re building toward that, starting with saved conversations with the lawn coach.

I’m using it on my own yard as I build it. The questions and frustrations that brought me here are shaping what comes next.
